This program has multiple capabilities for rental assistance and stabilization services to income-eligible individuals and families in need. When funds are not available, GSH uses Diversion tactics to quickly end a homeless episode. Households must be at or below 30% AMI (For most financial assistance). Additional resources may be available for clients at or below 120% AMI. GSH focuses its IHPS efforts in Monmouth County, but can also assist in Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon Counties. Household must prove citizenship or legal residence (Work authorization cards are accepted as long as additional household members are legally residing in the U.S.).
